Teaching Evaluations
Examples of student feedback was selected based on comments that provided the most detail. For PHM 480, there were only 4 students in the class, 2 of whom provided open-ended commentary.
From BBH 451 students (35 students):
"The PowerPoint format for lectures made the material very easy to understand and it also helped to clarify main points the instructor was trying to stress, even though the subject matter itself can be difficult to absorb at times, professor Ragan did a fantastic job breaking it down in order to ensure that each and everyone one of her students was getting it. She truly is a wonderful teacher!"
"Honestly, the teacher was great. She was very enthusiastic about the course and she knew what she was talking about. Whatever questions you could ask that she may not know about, she took the time to do the research and find the answer."

From PSY 409 students-guest lecture on developmental effects of teratogens (22 students):
"I liked the inclusion of the court case as a practical example of a real-life situation in how our society should go about attempting to help the recovery of parents using drugs during pregnancy"
"Good job at keeping students involved by asking questions and showing examples"
"I thought the information was conveyed in an intriguing manner. The mouse party [http://learn.genetics.utah.edu/content/addiction/drugs/mouse.html] was an interesting way to gain knowledge of the material."
